Onyx Executive Transport – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Onyx Executive Transport. By booking and using our services, customers agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which are designed to protect our clients, chauffeurs, and the business. These terms also cover instances when Onyx Executive Transport may use trusted affiliates to complete certain trips.

General Service Terms

  • Acceptance of Terms: By booking a service, the customer agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If the customer does not agree, they should not proceed with the booking.
  • Third-Party Affiliates: Onyx Executive Transport reserves the right to assign services to trusted affiliates, particularly in cases of high demand or vehicle unavailability. Affiliates are required to adhere to the same standards as Onyx Executive Transport. However, the company is not liable for the actions of affiliate drivers beyond what is covered in these terms.
  • Identification: Chauffeurs and affiliate drivers will carry company or affiliate identification. Customers may request identification for verification.

Reservations and Payment

  • Advance Booking: Customers should book at least 24 hours in advance to ensure vehicle availability. Special requests or amenities must be mentioned at booking and may incur additional charges.
  • Confirmation: Reservations are confirmed upon receiving a confirmation email or text from Onyx Executive Transport. Confirmations include booking details and contact information for inquiries.
  • Payment Terms: Full payment is required prior to the service date, unless otherwise agreed. Onyx Executive Transport accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payment methods. Any additional charges incurred during the trip will be billed to the customer.
  • Gratuity: Gratuity is optional and not included in the base fare. A standard 15–20% gratuity is customary.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellation Terms:
  • Standard Services (e.g., airport transfers): Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup.
  • Premium Services or Events (e.g., weddings, corporate events): Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance.
  • Refunds:
  • Full refunds are available for cancellations made within the required time frame.
  • No refunds are provided for late cancellations or no-shows.
  • Force Majeure: In cases of severe weather, road closures, or other unforeseen events beyond the company’s control, Onyx Executive Transport may reschedule or issue a service credit at its discretion.

Liability and Limitations

  • Passenger Conduct: Customers and passengers must conduct themselves responsibly during transportation. Misconduct, damage to the vehicle, or unlawful behavior may lead to termination of service without a refund, and additional fees may apply.
  • Personal Belongings: Onyx Executive Transport is not responsible for loss or damage to any personal belongings left in the vehicle. Please ensure that all belongings are taken upon exiting the vehicle.
  • Vehicle Condition: All vehicles in the Onyx Executive Transport fleet are maintained and inspected regularly to ensure safety. However, the company is not liable for mechanical issues, traffic delays, or unexpected events that may affect the timely arrival or comfort of passengers.
  • Safety and Compliance: Onyx Executive Transport complies with all relevant safety regulations and requirements, including those governing vehicle maintenance and chauffeur training. Passengers must wear seat belts at all times, and non-compliance may result in termination of service without a refund.

Insurance and Liability Waiver

  • Insurance Coverage: Onyx Executive Transport holds commercial insurance to protect passengers in the event of an accident. However, the company is not liable for personal injuries, property damage, or loss that occurs outside the scope of this insurance coverage.
  • Affiliate Liability: In instances where a trip is assigned to an affiliate, Onyx Executive Transport is not responsible for any damages or losses resulting from the affiliate’s services. However, the company will make every effort to partner only with reputable affiliates who meet our standards of service and safety.

Confidentiality and Privacy

  • Customer Information: Onyx Executive Transport respects customer privacy and will not share any personal or booking information with third parties except as required to fulfill the service (e.g., with affiliates).
  • Data Security: Personal information and electronic transactions are handled securely in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

Limitations and Exclusions

  • Unforeseen Events: Onyx Executive Transport is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other unforeseen events. Customers are encouraged to allow for extra travel time.
  • Vehicle Substitution: In the case of mechanical issues, the company reserves the right to substitute the reserved vehicle with a similar one or a higher category at no extra cost to the customer.
  • Non-Guarantee of Availability: While we strive to meet all customer requests, Onyx Executive Transport cannot guarantee vehicle or chauffeur availability, especially for last-minute bookings.

Dispute Resolution

  • Complaints Process: Any complaints should be reported to customer support within 48 hours of service completion. Onyx Executive Transport will review and address all complaints within five business days.
  • Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate court within the state.

Acceptance of Terms

By proceeding with a reservation, customers confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. This agreement applies to all services provided by Onyx Executive Transport.
